How to Become a Member
We have three convenient ways for you to establish Membership.
- Open your Membership Online
- Visit any SchoolsFirst FCU location
- Call our Telephone Service Center at
(800) 462-8328 to have an application mailed to you
What You’ll Need
- A valid driver’s license (or other official picture identification)
- Proof of eligibility such as a payroll stub, etc.
- $15 Membership Fee (waived if your spouse is already a Member, or if you are a minor and the parent(s) you live with is already a Member.)
- $5 initial deposit, which is the required minimum balance for our Share Savings account
- If you are opening a checking account, the required minimum opening deposit is $100
Identity Verification
Under the USA Patriot Act, all financial institutions are required to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account. Therefore, when you open a new account at SchoolsFirst FCU, we will ask you for your name, address, date of birth, and other identifying information. We may also ask to see your driver's license or other form of identification.
