Board of Directors

Dr. Pearson has been serving as a volunteer at SchoolsFirst Federal Credit Union since 2015. She served on the Orange County/Los Angeles Advisory Council, Member Relations Committee, Risk Committee and the SchoolsFirst Insurance Services, LLC Board of Managers. Dr. Pearson joined the Board of Directors as an Associate Director in 2021 and became a Director in 2022. Dr. Pearson holds a Certified Credit Union Board Member (CCUB) designation from America's Credit Unions, a trade association for state and federally chartered credit unions. She also holds a Cyber Risk & Strategy certification from the Diligent Institute. Dr. Pearson has over 30 years of experience working in education ranging from the K-12 setting to her current role as the associate vice president, school of continuing education at a community college. She earned a Doctorate in Education, a Master of Arts in educational administration, a Master of Science in criminology, a Bachelor of Arts in behavioral science and has both a California teaching credential and administrative credential.
